Quiltmaking
has evolved over the centuries. What was once a luxury and status symbol
became a frugal way to keep warm and has now become an artistic endeavor, a
hobby, a skill passed down from generation to generation, an avenue for
socializing, and even a form of therapy. However, quilt making is still a
source of warmth, whether to warm the body as a covering, warming the home
as part of the decor, or warming the heart as a gift to someone special.

quality quilts and garments
for sale. Each quilt is individually crafted with precision and
care that comes only with years of experience and love of the art. Every
one was made by me - Catherine Timmons - no imports or factory products.
Some are original designs, some are traditional, and some were made from a
commercial pattern. Please
email me if you would like to have me make a special quilt for you. Some
of the quilts in the showcase or list of classes can be recreated for you,
but those shown are not currently for sale. Also check out
my eBay auctions for some bargains - I
usually have a few quilts or garments for sale there.
I am currently teaching
classes in Southeast
Wisconsin if you would like to learn how to craft your own quilts. I travel
within the United States for workshops and also spend two weeks teaching
classes in Eastern Washington every fall. If you would like to host a class
