A Christian quilting retreat or workshop offers opportunities for rich fellowship within your women's group. I will present two or three brief devotional messages appropriate to the occasion, or you can supply your own teacher and I will provide only the quiltmaking instruction.

Quilting is an excellent venue for Christian fellowship and discipling. While the hands are occupied, the eyes and ears and hearts are open.

I enjoy teaching quiltmaking, and that will be a fun and successful part of this kind of event, but my real goal in this ministry is to promote godly relationships within the church family and encourage spiritual growth in individuals.  The messages I present are rooted solidly in Scripture, suitable to a diverse group of Christian women. I like best to talk about The Relationships of Women, especially in the context of families and churches. I also have Mentoring and Encouraging Others and Healing with Pleasant Words programs. Other topics include marriage, home-keeping, and mothering. As a retired homeschooling mother, I can address that subject as well.

The format of these ministry events is flexible. I can do all of the teaching, or you may have several teachers. We can allow for times of corporate or private prayer and meditation or opportunities for discussion in the schedule according to your preference.
