Cathe Timmons began working with me in 1992 after I had her teach a class at the "Craft House" in Chewelah, Washington. She started the quilting "rage" in Chewelah which has continued ever since. Cathe has always kept up to date on techniques, styles and patterns. Her samples use the newest fabrics and scrap quilts have a range of fabrics since she has collected and quilted for such a long time. Cathe has taught so many different people and really makes it easy for even the most challenging student. As a shop owner I feel it is very encouraging to have her teach and wish I could use her more than once or twice a year because she can sell the material and the unique tools and gadgets necessary to assemble quilts or other sewing projects. We now import Cathe to Washington for two weeks in the fall and sometimes in the spring. She is very organized and gets her projects together early so that we can mail fabric from our store to be used in the samples. She puts together class descriptions, supply lists and sign -up sheets in a neat notebook with little left for us to do except collect the money and sell the fabric. Our customers and sales staff love having her come with her pleasant personality and innovative ideas. She is a great asset to our store and the customers begin asking when she will be here months before we even schedule a trip.

I highly recommend you trying to schedule classes with Cathe Timmons whenever possible, your sales will show it and your customers will be happy. Do not be afraid to carry the tools or items she recommends even if they are not usually in your normal stock. She is the tool that will sell them.
